Marj has made a significant impact on the renewable energy industry through her innovative program development and workforce training initiatives. With over 20 years of experience across teaching, research program development, and grant writing, Marj is a well-respected expert in the field of renewable energy and sustainability. She is committed to promoting the growth and development of renewable energy resources through innovative program development and workforce training initiatives.

As the Director of the Renewable Energy & Sustainability Center (RESC) at Farmingdale State College, Marj created numerous programs and initiatives aimed at promoting the growth and development of renewable energy resources. Her passion for developing and delivering high-quality training programs is evidenced through her creation of New York State's first "Wind Turbine Technician" Certificate program and Farmingdale State College's first "Sustainable Energy" Certificate program; both of which set a new standard for workforce training in the industry .

As an accomplished grant writer, Marj has secured over $13 million in funding for her programs and initiatives, including grants from the Department of Energy, KeySpan Foundation, Microsoft, and SUNY.  

In addition to her role as CEO of National Wind Services Corp and Director of the RESC, Marj serves as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at Farmingdale State College - where she also served as the Associate Dean of Innovation and Economic Development in Sustainable Energy. She is a recipient of multiple awards from academic and industry bodies, including a Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence in Teaching Service.

She is an active member of various energy and engineering committees, including the American Wind Energy Association, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - Power and Energy Society, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's committee focused on the acceleration and facilitation of the offshore wind industry’s workforce needs. 

With a BSEE from Stony Brook University, a MSEE from Columbia University, and a Professional Engineering license to practice in New York State, Marj brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the industry.
